The firm was founded in January 1999 by William C. Slusser, former head of the trial department of the Houston office of Baker Botts LLP. He was joined by Michael E. Wilson, who practiced complex litigation and intellectual property law as a former partner at Baker Botts; Jayme Partridge, who formerly practiced intellectual property law and complex litigation at Baker Botts before managing intellectual property litigation at ExxonMobil; Jayne Piana also practiced intellectual property and general commercial litigation at Fulbright & Jaworski. From 1999 until mid 2003 the firm was Slusser & Frost, LLP. |
