Jayme Partridge

Ms. Partridge has significant experience in technology and complex commercial litigation. Her practice is primarily focused on intellectual property law, and she has represented clients in cases involving allegations of patent infringement, insurance coverage for patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and copyright infringement. The technologies involved in those cases have included ethylene oxide catalysis, olefin catalysis, characterization of polyolefin molecules, motor oil additives, hydraulic fracturing of hydrocarbon formations, downhole tools for oil and gas wells, offshore drilling rigs, drill bits, and high speed internet services. In addition, she has represented clients in cases involving allegations of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, products liability, toxic tort, tortious interference, negligence and violation of environmental laws.

Ms. Partridge is admitted to practice in Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Partridge is a member of the American Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, Houston Bar Association, and Texas Bar Foundation.

Ms. Partridge received her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 1991, with high honors, and she is a member of Order of the Coif. She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, cum laude, in 1982 from Texas A&M University and is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma. Ms. Partridge worked as an engineer for six years before receiving her law degree and was a licensed Petroleum Engineer from 1986-1992.
