William C. Slusser

Mr. Slusser has extensive jury trial experience in patent infringement and related technical suits, as well as in antitrust, general business and products liability lawsuits, representing such clients as Exxon Mobil, BJ Services Company, and individual patent owners.

He is a member of two of the most highly regarded merit-based organizations in the legal profession, the American College of Trial Lawyers, and the American Law Institute. He was formerly with Baker Botts, LLP for 26 years where he was head of the Trial Department and a member of the Executive Committee before leaving to form his own firm.

Mr. Slusser has received a number of significant distinctions for his trial ability and accomplishments. In addition to being admitted to prestigious professional organizations, such distinctions have included being listed in numerous publications recognizing outstanding lawyers, including being included in Best Lawyers in America every year since its inception.

Bar associations of which he is a member include the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and the American and Houston Intellectual Property Lawyers Associations. He served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association, South Texas chapter for 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Mr. Slusser received his J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law in 1972 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1970 from The University of Texas - Arlington.
