About the Firm

The firm has distinguished itself in jury trials of complex cases, typically, but not exclusively, intellectual property cases.

The firm was founded in January 1999 by William C. Slusser, former head of the trial department of the Houston office of Baker Botts LLP. He was joined by Michael E. Wilson, who practiced complex litigation and intellectual property law as a former partner at Baker Botts; Jayme Partridge, who formerly practiced intellectual property law and complex litigation at Baker Botts before managing intellectual property litigation at ExxonMobil; Jayne Piana also practiced intellectual property and general commercial litigation at Fulbright & Jaworski; and Brett McKean who practiced intellectual property litigation with Patterson & Sheridan, LLP before joining Slusser Wilson & Patridge in 2007.

From 1999 until mid 2003 the firm was Slusser & Frost, LLP.
